ST. MARY'S NORTHCHURCH
UNITED BENEFICE OF NORTHCHURCH & WIGGINTON
OUR HISTORY
Throughout the church there are glimpses of the past. There is graffiti chiselled into the stone work by bell ringers that is dated back to the reign of King Charles I.
Memorials tell of the people who shaped the life of the village and community. The most famous resident in the churchyard is Peter the Wild Boy who lived in the parish in the 18th Century.
It is a beautiful building and please let us know if you would like a tour round to see the points of interest.
